FamigliaEight delivered the strategic development and launch of Rues Ciné Art: The Marina Experience, a new cultural concept that transformed the Slipway at Limassol Marina into an open-air celebration of cinema, art and culture from 12–14 June. Developed from concept to execution, Rues Ciné Art represents a complete brand creation by FamigliaEight — encompassing brand strategy, positioning, visual identity, communications, stakeholder engagement and the planning of its inaugural public activation.

Hosted at Limassol Marina, one of Cyprus' most recognised waterfront destinations and a long-standing strategic partner of FamigliaEight, the three-day event welcomed hundreds of visitors who experienced open-air film screenings, artistic performances, creative workshops, interactive family activities and curated food experiences in a unique Mediterranean setting.

The opening ceremony brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, cultural organisations, business leaders, partners, media and members of the local community, reflecting strong support for initiatives that enrich Limassol's cultural landscape and create meaningful public experiences.

From the earliest stages of brand development through to the successful delivery of the first event, FamigliaEight led the project's strategic direction, ensuring that every element — from identity and communications to partnerships and visitor experience — aligned with the long-term vision of establishing Rues Ciné Art as a distinctive cultural platform.

Brand Creation

End-to-end brand development: strategy, positioning, naming direction and a visual identity system designed to give Rues Ciné Art a distinctive, ownable place in Cyprus' cultural landscape.

Communications & PR

A full communications programme spanning messaging, media outreach, stakeholder engagement and content — building anticipation ahead of the launch and coverage around it.

Programme & Experience Design

Planning of the inaugural three-day activation at the Slipway: open-air film screenings, artistic performances, creative workshops, family activities and curated food experiences, choreographed as one Mediterranean evening out.

Partnerships & Delivery

Coordination with Limassol Marina as Venue and Supporting Strategic Partner, plus public and private sector stakeholders, culminating in the successful delivery of the opening ceremony and full weekend programme.

Outcome

A successful inaugural edition that established Rues Ciné Art as a new cultural platform for Cyprus — with future editions and collaborations planned to strengthen its position as a lasting cultural destination.
